For confidential assistance, please call the HIV/AIDS Legal Resource Project at (866) 817-8151.
Project clients must have a diagnosis of HIV or AIDS and have a civil (not criminal) legal problem related to that diagnosis. Financial eligibility is based upon the number of people in the household, current income and assets, national poverty guidelines, and other financial factors.
Persons call the Legal Resource Project safeline at the toll free statewide number (866) 817-8151 or locally in Oklahoma City (405) 524-4611, to leave a confidential message including a name and a phone number. The attorney coordinator returns calls, conducts interviews, and assess both financial eligibility and legal needs. The attorney coordinator offers advice, brief services, or refers the matter to a participant in the statewide volunteer attorney panel. |
