Beginning today, October 1^st, pin a purple ribbon on your collar, create an arm band for your wrist or tie a purple ribbon around your tree.  Help bring awareness to this issue by wearing a purple ribbon throughout October and telling people why you are wearing it.

October is National Domestic Violence Awareness Month and these ribbons are a reminder of not only the victims, but also the services that are available to help.
